Throughout history, humans have sought protection in many ways—whether through the safety of their homes, law enforcement, or spiritual practices. Protection surrounds us, often in ways we don’t notice, from everyday physical safeguards to the rituals of ancient times.
This fascinating talk will explore the many ways people have protected themselves over the centuries—from ensuring good harvests to warding off evil spirits, witches, and curses. You’ll also hear how these traditions have evolved and how people continue to seek protection in modern times.
