Bat boxes, swift boxes and bug hotels
Twenty four bat boxes have been made by volunteers at Totton Men’s shed as part of a project by Totton and Eling Town Council to support our local wildlife. We are working with an ecologist from New Forest District Council to select the most suitable locations for the boxes in and around Totton and Eling.
New swift boxes and bug hotels will also be installed as part of the project.
Many thanks to the volunteers from Totton Men’s shed for their support with this community project.
They have now started work on creating some bug hotels for us too!
