Information for stall holders

Interested in showcasing your products at Totton & Eling’s monthly Artisan & Farmers Market? We’d love to have you!

We’d love you to apply if you are a local business who either crafts, creates, grows, makes or bakes their own products.

Whether you’re a soap maker, a bobble hat knitter, a cookie creator, hot food producer or you produce your own jam, we are looking for you!

The market will run once a month on the 2nd Saturday, 10am-3pm along Library Road, right next to the town precinct. The location is great and we are sure this will be a huge attraction for locals and nearby towns and villages to visit.

If you are interested in joining, please get in touch using the form below, please add any questions to the text box at the end of the form, and we will get back to you with any additional details you may need.

Thanks & we look forward to welcoming you!

Our Stall Holder Requirements are as Follows:
  • We are an Artisan & Farmers market, so stallholders should offer craft or home produced items.
  • You must have your own equipment (gazebo, weights, tables and signage).
  • You must have at least £5m in PLI and product insurance.
  • Certification of food safety and registration with the Council will be required for food producers.

Market Details:
  • The market is held on the 2nd Saturday of every month, 10am-3pm (you will need to allow additional time to set up and pack away outside of these hours) and the pitch will be available from 8am.
  • The market is held on a closed road, you will be allocated a pitch from the Market Officer.
  • A pitch fee is £25 (for a 3x3m). Larger pitch sizes may be available on request.

Your Commitment & Cancellation:
  • We do not require that you attend every week, but we do need you to book in advance to secure your place.
  • If you cannot attend a booked session, please notify us in writing via email at least 5 working days before the market date.
  • For unpaid sessions you will not incur any charges. For sessions already paid, we will hold the payment as a credit against the next booking or refund to the original payment method.
  • Cancellations less than 5 working days of the market date will not eligible for a credit against further sessions as you will still be liable for payment for your pitch.
  • If we cancel the market for reasons outside of our control (Weather, Safety or Road Issues for example) we will refund you in full or hold payment as a credit against a further session.

Your Safety, Weather, Our Commitment and Cancellation Policy:

We commit to opening the market on every second Saturday of the month, however in exceptional circumstances where we may need to cancel the entire market, we will endeavour to let you know as soon as possible if this happens.

We will ensure the road is safe, and that the area is free from traffic by ensuring road closures.

    Examples of reasons for cancellation:

  • Weather – The market will stay open in most weathers, but unsafe conditions including high winds, snow, thunder & lightning may result in cancellation for safety.
  • Government issued dispersals such as pandemic, or other health issued lockdowns.
