We are excited to announce upcoming improvements that will enhance our town’s Memorial area and Town Park, aiming to enrich the experience for all visitors and residents alike.
Firstly, works are underway to elevate the viewing platforms around the memorial, ensuring a clearer and more expansive view for attendees during the Remembrance service. These enhancements will not only improve visibility but also offer a more dignified setting for our community’s important gatherings. Alongside this, there will be a revitalization of the surrounding landscape, enhancing the natural beauty of the memorial grounds. Additionally, a new adjacent performance space and a unique human sundial are being created, enriching the memorial area as a focal point for both reflection and community events.
Upon completion of these improvements, attention will turn to our beloved Town Park. Plans include refurbishing and enhancing the ponds, enhancing their ecological health and aesthetic appeal.
